The Queen's Beasts
The Queen's Beasts are a series of bullion coins made in gold, silver, and platinum by the Royal Mint. These coins are minted to 999.9 purity (999.5 platinum) and are produced in a variety of sizes from 1/4oz, 1oz, 2oz and 10oz.
The coins commemorate the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II, with each 'beast' representing an animal statue present outside Westminster Abbey on the day of the coronation. The creatures each represent a royal family or a part of British royal history, and make for an intriguing precious metal gift. For more information, email [email protected].
