2 Pound Gold Coin

The £2 coin is also known as a Double Sovereign. It is a larger coin that often uses the same design, though commemorative editions are also released on an annual basis by The Royal Mint. The private Pobjoy Mint was also responsible for producing same-specification coins for the Isle of Man.

The coins are 28.4 mm in diameter and weigh 15.98 grams. These are 22-carat gold coins and produced in bullion, Brilliant Uncirculated, and proof formats.
